Want to learn about ways to have your voice heard and be involved as social studies standards are being discussed and written?
TXCSS is hosting SBOE Members Marissa Perez-Diaz (D, District 3) and Pam Little (R, District 12) in a conversation about the Social Studies TEKS Revisions currently underway. The session will be on Wednesday, January 14 from 7 to 8:30 pm via Zoom. They will share information about the process overall, the upcoming January Board meeting, and their perspectives on the process so far.
We are taking questions in advance, which you can submit via this form, to help inform our Q&A discussion. There will be opportunities to submit questions during the session as well, but time constraints may not allow us to address every question. We also remind attendees that questions should be clear, concise, respectful, and directly related to the purpose of the Q&A.
